Every wall is faced with the same marble, the veining set so it is not interrupted at the corners. The washing zone opposite is entirely timber — the meeting of these two materials sets the rhythm of the room.
Light arrives from three places: the ring behind the round mirror, a concealed strip along the ceiling and a line under the shelves. Even with dark surfaces the room never reads as gloomy.
